2015 GLK350 4matic Low tone sound over 95km/h
I bought a 2015 GLK350 4matic. When going over 95km/h in 7th speed, i start hearing a low tone sound coming from the front end. The sound changes in intensity if i downshift in 6th or 5th gear. I also tried to put in neutral and when the engine is at idle, the sound gets worst. Still in neutral over 95km/h, if I push on the accelerator, the sound nearly disappear when over 2000rpm but comes back as soon as it gets lower than 2000rpm. Front wheel bearings have been changed, dealer changed for a new transmission and transfer case plus new front tires.
I am getting frustrated from not being able to find out what is the problem. Any help is welcome

That’s very interesting. It sounds like an engine problem since the sound changes with respect to the engine RPM. You’ve already isolated the transmission by putting it in neutral. It doesn’t sound like a wheel bearing or axle component problems either. Try taking it to another Mercedes dealer for warranty work.
