2014 GLK350 4Matic
headlight OEM replacements

I have a 2014 GLK350 4Matic with stock halogens. Could I find something like this and just do a quick swap out plug and play?

Sorry, that's not going to be quick plug and play. You'll at a minimum need to find someone with a STAR system to recode. You could just do an HID conversion or budget willing, a projector retrofit.. That's what most do with base lighting package.

What decent bulb replacements / upgrades would work, plug and play? I'm not into over-wattage or the LED replacements with the little fans, that all seems like hackery. Thank you!

I went with Hid , it’s great , about 150% more light. Hid outlast halogen, and Leds are to heat sensitive

I used a Philips xenon kit, 5500k, the ballasts are temp sensitive and must be mounted as low as possible, they are rated to only105c, , your headlights will have to be aimed fully down, and will be real real bright.
