2010 GLK 2006 E350
2010 GLK350 door lock actuator

Looking for reference instructions on replacing the drivers side front door lock actuator on a 2010 GLK.
Have done so on my E350 and an SLK I used to own, but can't find anything on-line for a GLK.
Any input much appreciated.

Following... I have the exact same question. I also have a 2010 GLK350 that I need to replace the driver side door lock actuator on. I have the part, but no clue on the removal/install. I had a guy from yourmechanic.com coming out, but he cancelled. Now I'm wondering if I can just do it myself.

I just did a fix on my w204 c-class, and I would assume the process is the same. However, it may not be as I have never removed the door panel of my GLK.

Here are some DIY's for replacing the front door lock actuators on w204's:
  1. Using the OEM actuator: OEM actuator fix
    • This looks like an absolute pain in the ****, so I opted for the easier and less expensive non-OEM fix below.
  2. Using universal actuator: Universal actuator fix
    • While this ended up being a very easy job, the disassembly/reassembly instructions may vary from the GLK a bit, the space to position this actuator may or may not exist, and the wiring colors may or may not match.

Thanks @TPete19 ! I think I'll give this a go myself. I already have the OEM part, so I get the fun procedure. Wish me luck!
