Lower radiotor hose connection

The lower radiator hose connection to radiator keeps slightly coming out enough to cause a small leak. It's at the area of the retention clip, one side is only being affteced. When I push it in I stays put for a few days but then starts coming out. Its never been replaced or removed, so not sure if the problem is with the retention clip or the hose, anyone have issues with the connections failing and leaking?

You don’t want it loose and leaking, how old is it? At least get the clamp tight or change the clamp now, if it’s old and cracked order a new original hose, not aftermarket.

My local dealer does not sell the retention clips on their own. I will try a different dealer today, if not I'll just get a new hose. The hose is 10 years, no other issues with the hose, just one of the connection points between the clip and hose that's the problem. When secured it stays put for the first few days of driving with no leaks. And then suddenly one side gets lose (right side in the attached pic)

I agree with original only, the aftermarket upper radiator hose was leaking right after install despite a good tight seal, returned it and put in a hose from the dealer and no issues.

This connection uses only the retaining clip. Anyway, I replaced the hose and the clips, and as I was beginning to work on it and attempted to drain the radiator, which I've done multiple times, I noticed that the drain spigot was missing. So somehow the radiator got replaced. Only way that would have happened was at my Indy mechanic last month when they did the ESL, so now it makes sense why that hose was popping out even though I've never touched that end of the connection.

Did the repalcement a few days ago and the hose it staying put. These connections are pretty fragile, from my experience(I guess the age of the hose is the reason). Replaced the upper one last year after doing the thermostat, as it started leaking too, so I would definitely keep on eye on after doing any work that involves removing and replacing the hose ends with the retaining clips.
