I have a 2013 Benz GLK 350 (4matic). I recently installed a dash cam and hooked up the power supply to the cigarette lighter in the glove box. I would like to know if there’s a way to switch the cigarette lighter to ‘always on’ so it can supply power to the dash camera even when the ignition is off. I know hot wiring it is also another alternative (if not better), but I figure I would ask before approaching it another way.
