Command screen going bad
Hi guys and gals new owner of a 2014 GLK 350 love the car but the 7 inch LCD screen went bad looking for a replacement any suggestions would like to keep it stock head unit can’t find a Lot of options except eBay for used ones anyone have links to new 7 inch LCD‘s that fit our cars ? Also when you put a new screen in is there anything you have to do to activate it ?

I think they want about $500 for it.
OP, there was a thread on this sub-forum within the last year or so where a user replaced the screen with a $20 version sourced directly from the manufacture. you are going to have to search, he posted pictures of the job, links to the source and the part numbers.
