GLK250 EGR cleaning?
Apparently, the EGR valve is something that should be cleaned periodically. Or at least that's what MotorVac (motorvac.com/egrtool) recommends. They even have an adapter specifically for our 2.1L Bluetec, complete with a writeup (https://www.cpsproducts.com/wp-conte...IM15-01265.pdf).
I found this while searching for EGR valve removal and cleaning for the Bluetec, in case anyone is interested. I wonder how often this should be done, and if so, why isn't it in the owner's maintenance manual as part of the scheduled services?
BTW, if anyone has an actual writeup for cleaning the EGR valve, that'd be great. I'll keep searching...
