For some reason my rear wiper just randomly turns on?? Now it seems to go when ever I start the engine...then stops at some random spot on the rear window. Anyone else have this issue?? if so...what was the fix?

Anyhow...took a gamble and bought a used rear wiper motor (Ebay $85 CAD) and so far so good. Apparently there is a "stop position sensor" integrated into the motor that must have burnt out. The wiper arm was a beast to remove despite using a puller, ended up having to sawzall the old shaft and punch out the cut piece.

I think this happened after I accidentally turned on the rear wiper when it was frozen to the glass so...my bad
