Audio 20, code 523

From: In 1981 I left Netherlands for Califoria and was offered an engineering job in the Petro-chemy design refineries.
2011 GLK 350
Audio 20, code 523
In 2016 I became owner of a 2011 glk 350 and got it via a dealer. I later found out that the first owner had replaced the audio system with a Kenwood unit. That unit was taken out when I got the car.
According to the Mercedes dealer my audio-20 is in accordance to MB code 523. What is the meaning of code 523?
I also noticed that there is no AUX in glove compartment or AVI in storage area. There is in the back corner of the glove compartment a hole.
I think there was once a AUX cable. Base on code 523 do I have the 10 pin connection or the 4 pin connection?
I like to upgrade my audio, or change harness and monitor from 5.8 to 7", to add a backup/parking camera.
