2015 spark plug replacement on driver side access How do I access the driver side to replace the spark plugs? ? Do I got to pull this big black cover off as seen in the picture? Can somebody walk me through it? Passenger sides a piece of cake

I read the threads about taking the top off the intake manifold and unplugging the ECM and decided that I would rather pay $570 to the dealer and have it done by someone that does it several times a week. They gave me a free loaner, and cleaned my car too. I replaced the ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arms on my beater truck, replaced the shifting solenoids in the transmission, replaced intake manifold gaskets etc., but it's a 20 yr old beater that isn't worth what I spent on parts. I'm not scared of getting dirty, but I felt fine paying to have the spark plugs changed on my benz.
On 276...that pdf above is good, I wish I saw it before doing this on E350.
Disconnect ECU, disconnect vaccum line, use a string/thin rope to grab unto the coil to pull it out like in the PDF document.
You may have to take the intake manifold off (the big plastic thing) to get more access (that's what I did). If you remove manifold be careful with vacuum lines in the back and the runner gaskets.Good luck.
