New to me 2012 4Matic
Currently at 96k, daily driver
Awesome vehicle, as capable as my past 4WD vehicles, as comfortable as previous luxury vehicles, and performance and handling that is sports car like.
I did a lot of research, including this forum before purchase.
Thought I got a good one, and I did, however...
At 90k I get the dreaded transmission shudder.
Indie repair facility replaced torque converter (under my extended service contract)
Just had a B Service done at same Indie, $379 plus tax.
I replaced the air filters and plugs last weekend.
Due for diff fluid change, $288 quote
Control arm bushings showing some cracks (is covered under service contract)
Belt tensioner showing wear (covered under service contract)
Dealer put new tires on it, Kuhmo Creugen, quiet, excellent ride, and handling. Wearing very well.
Dealer put on new pads, sitting at 80% after 10k miles.
There is nothing about this vehicle I don't like, goal is 250k - 300k
