Need help after oil change
After changing the oil of my 2010 glk350, the oil leaking a lot from the o ring of the filter cap, with lots of pressure, and the yellow light (motor) came on, what a mess in the driveway and motor compartment , someone know what the problem ???

Did an oil change this morning with no problems. The first time I changed the oil in my wife's BMW, I put the big o-ring in the wrong groove and it leaked quite a bit. Not with pressure though. I corrected it quickly before it got too messy.
So, +3 on reseat the o-ring. The only other issue would be if you badly over tightened the cap and cracked it.

Make sure you use new O-rings, best to lube it with new or old oil, don't over tighten the cap.
Make sure all O-rings (3 I believe are replaced and the big one is seated correctly). I can see how sombody might not put the big O-ring its grove, but if if you look closely it's pretty obvious where it's supposed to go. The channel for it even has little cut out to get screw driver in there to take it out.

One thing I'd like to add for future readers. The Mann HU718/5x oil filter comes with 5 O-rings, 2 are extra of a different size. The smaller of the two is exactly the right size for the oil dipstick. My dipstick was loose and I replaced the O-ring with the one that came with the filter. It fits like new again.
