I didn’t like how the factory mirror was so noticeable from outside the car, the tan was just too conspicuous. So I swapped the original tan mirror for a black mirror from a C class, it looks so much better now!
And as a bonus, the GLK is pre-wired for the mirror functions, even if your factory mirror didn’t come with them. My tan mirror was basic mirror, nothing else. The black mirror has auto-dimming, the HomeLink system for garage door and a digital compass display and they all work, direct plug and play!
