Ac blower problem
I purchased 2 month ago a GLK 300 with just 100'000 km.
The car is working very well, excepted the fact that I was hearing a squeak coming from the right ac vents, specially when turning or accelerating. The squeak was there only when ac/heater on and if I stopped the ac when the squeak was occurring, the squeak stopped immediately.
I checked my cabin filter and it was fine. I checked the ac blower from under engine compartment and was looking fine too, no leaves or so.
I decided to lubricate the blower motor with a spray oil (no WD40, just pure oil for small electric motors) and the squeak is now totally away.
Nice BUT.
Since I oiled the blower I've others problems :
1. The ac is globally more noisy than before, more air noise
2. At cold I can smell a slight "short circuit" smell
3. If I regulate the ac fan speed manually I've no difference between the 6 and 7 speed
Any idea?
Is there a way to reset the electronics of ac system? I saw hold defrost and air recirculation but doesn't work.
Thanks for your help
