GLK 250 Factory tow hitch
Hi Folks,

I am looking for a tow hitch for my GLK 250. Does anybody know if the factory version is available? I searched and could only find an aftermarket that requires a couple of modifications.

Hi Ed,
Where are you from. If you do not find anything, mine will be available this spring. I ordered a hitch with a 2" Receiver for my camping trailer.

@KTM530 That timing would work well, is yours actually a factory hitch? I have a trip in July that I need it for..

I am located in Colorado with way too many Mercedes.. I had a GLK350 that went to a brother and a GLK250 that I regret selling. I just found a low mileage GLK250 that should arrive on Monday but it is missing a couple of options like a tow hitch..

Hi ED, yes it's the factory 1 1/4" tow hitch. Distance might be expensive for the shipping due to size and weight of the package.

2015 GLK 250 BlueTec with AMG Sport package.
@ecohen2 Factory hitch unit is Westfalia brand. I got mine from the factory, 1 1/4" Class II, 280lbs on the tongue, 3500lbs towing.

I found my factory tow hitch from an online salvage yard .. you also need the wiring harnesses. There are two of them. Plus, the trailer hitch control unit.

@capt_paul Thanks, I have been looking at salvage yards, craigslist, eBay etc. I have plenty of time to find one, but am starting my search early.
