GLK 350 backup camera question
I recently picked up a 2011 GLK 350 (with only 75k miles) and the previous owner had replaced the original head unit with a single din JVC head unit.
So my LCD screen does not power on at all, which means my backup camera is inoperable.
Does anybody know if there is anything I can do to restore functionality of the backup camera? I imagine it would need some component that would receive power triggered when the vehicle is put into reverse, and would also need ports for RCA video in/out.
I am relatively electrically competent, but unaware if this type of component exists and how to search for it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does it have a rear camera ? Go buy a used head unit on eBay and hook it all back to original. I’ve seen them as cheap as 150$. I don’t know why anyone would get rid of the original unit , you loose a lot of other functions .
