Key not detected
Hello, I’m new to this forum also new to the site but I have an issue my glk 350 2015 will not start. Every time I try to start it it says key not detected it unlocks the doors etc afire I changed the key battery. On Fourth of July nothing will come on but next day the Bluetooth was connecting but it still reads key not detected and dash board screen want come on. As I turn the key it is silent then reads key not detected. Do anyone have an idea of what the problem can be?

Do you have a volt meter, what is battery voltage? Also test voltage while turning key. Try charging the battery, if nothing, take out the battery and get it tested, any auto parts store will test it free. If the battery is ok Google, Faulty EIS module , or Switch. Very expensive , find an independent shop that won’t be as painful to your wallet. Or maybe something else and someone has another idea.
