What issues should I expect with the mileage ? What issues have you gotten?
The price is $10.5 firm, it is on the high end of book
Thanks for your time

Is it city or highway miles? Heavy salt ? Does it have complete maintenance records ? At 67000 I put in all new front end components and a drive shaft . If you have a noisy u joint and it breaks it could cost you 10,000$ in damage, do you hear any drive train noise ? Get the trans hot and floor it a few times to see if trans slips. PAY a pro to go over it completely. Repairs on the Glk will kill you unless you have a good independent mechanic , and they will still kill your wallet. I’d be worried about any drivetrain noise , clunking when shifting forward to reverse or turning , anything because it’s not cheap fixing things. I got a new front driveshaft put in for 600, MB wanted about 3000$ all because of a bad 100$ U joint ! But I heard of one guy have one break and it cost him 10,000 for the ruined transfer case- transmission and differential . How often did he change oil? Was it highway miles ? How many times did he replace brake fluid ? Transmission fluid? Coolant ? Belts? Or is it all waiting for you to do it. A trans oil service is about 500$ and should have been done twice. If it wasn’t maintained with proof walk. Or get the price reduced to factor in what needs doing . But a pro is needed to really go over finer points and the drivetrain and run codes. Look for leaks, check brakes, Etc etc . Try YouTube on buying a used MB ! You don’t want to buy a repair and maintenance bill. It could be excessive if your not carefull.

Thanks for getting, back. Yeah, you pointed out all things I've been reading about.. heavy salt up here in NE, drivetrain is what scare me... and in this crazy market its like buy it now or its gone....
As much as I love the look, I think I'll drive my Volvo with 300K(No probems EVER) .... until I save up for a new lower mileage one...

Thanks Again

A well maintained GLK should go 200k+ miles. A poorly maintained one starts to have everything fail at about 120k miles.

Probably a good decision.

the best advice is: don't own an MB out of warranty unless you have access to a good Indy mechanic you TRUST.

Lots of things need attention on a 11 year old car so really a question of what has been done besides basic maintenance.
Search for my posts you will read what mine needed right around 11-12 year mark and 110k miles.

Avoid 4matics if you can live without it. Check maintenance records, see how it idles when in drive and check for cabin vibrations.
