Are the left and front struts identical?

As stated in the title. Mboemparts lists a p/n for the left strut, but not the right, which doesn't quite make sense, unless both are similar. The usual internet parts site don't list struts as «left» or «right» either.

Thanks!

There are just front and rear, no left and right.

The couple parts places I've looked at don't specify left/right for struts, only front/rear.

I'd compare prices to germanautoparts.com and FCPeuro.com

Apparently they are the same which makes sense to me. On my BMW, the struts have mounting brackets to hold wires etc. which makes left & right different.

I changed them this past weekend. Aside from the fact that bolts were hard to remove due to rust, and the fact that you need to remove the calipers to access the lower strut mounting bolts, it's not a tough job. It's just a little bit time-consuming, but otherwise, anyone with basic tools can tackle this.
