Aftermarket LED taillight 2011 350 4matic side marker bulb

Hey everyone. I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked and answered. (my smartphone is lacking smarts)

I purchased a set of LED taillights for my 2011 and I noticed in my gauge cluster it is telling me to check my rear side marker lights on both sides. When I look all I can find is my turn signal bulb, Reverse bulb, and the large LED brake light.
I can't seem to locate where the rear-side marker lightbulb may be.
Below is the eBay link to the tail lights.

Thank you,
N

Should be in the tail light assembly, on top, forward of the backup fog lamp.

Backup? Who wrote that? It's the fog lamp...

I'm thinking that the problem is that's not compatible with the 2011 model.

I checked out eBay and see lots and lots (and lots) of the same tail lights, half the listings for 2010-2012 models, and the other half for 2013-2015 models. They use exactly the same photos for both (at least on the one supplier I checked). That sounds suspicious.

I checked Amazon, and all of the ones that look like the OP's tail lights are for the 2013-2015 models.

Given the number of vendors handing these things, it's hard to imagine the tail lights not migrating from eBay to Amazon if they work on the older GLK models and make them look like a newer car.

These lights (assuming the one I am including a photo of below) don't appear to HAVE side-marker lights...

I did the tail light swap on my 2012 model. I added a 6 Ohm resistor, 50 watts, and am getting an error code for both the tail

new tail lights with error codes
lights and for the rear fog light. All of the lights work in the back; I'm just not sure how to get rid of the error codes.
