I’m aware these transmissions do not have a regular dipstick to check level. But there is supposed to be an area near oil dipstick that you can remove the cap and check. Our Ford pickups have a cap on the transmission with a mini-dipstick on it to check the level. But my 2015 GLK had nothing like that. The oil level was set by the height of the filler tube inside the transmission pan.
Maybe on earlier year then 2013 and certain model transmissions it might be possible. on my 13 there was no way to check , I just replaced the oil . It’s a real dumb move by mb.
