Need help with what kind of leak is this
I was under the hood the other day and noticed what seemed to be a leak under the enngine but I couldn't identify what kind of leak it was. It has a greenish tint but also muddy and dark at different areas. Maybe two different leaks?
I checked the coolant and the color is red and the level seems to be fine. Also, based on my research, the ATF should be blue color. Luckily, I'm not getting any error/light on my dash but would like to get it fixed up before it becomes a larger problem.
Would anyone have any idea what kind of leak this could be?

Is it under the transmission? Blue -green, real close . You have no trans dipstick? So you can’t check it? I’d get the transmission fluid replaced , low fluid will damage it fast. It’s not a cheap job because of fluid cost and difficulty in filling procedures. Maybe 350-400 from an independent. Buy fluid yourself at FCP euro, then you know you have the correct quality fluid. Ask FCP the color of the new fluid. If it’s red spec, stop because you are not supposed to mix . Have a shop look at it anyway before doing this .

I'd be tempted, if I saw that on our GLK, to wash it off, so the residue is gone. Then check it from time to time, to see if shows up again.
The one photo showing residue on the oil drain, looks like from an oil change, and just residual oil that dripped out the drain hole, without it being wiped off
