GPS settings..
This is the non-becker GPS system if that makes a difference.
I know, I know, I should be using my phone which has a much better GPS system. But there are times I'd use the built-in GPS, such as for longer trips.
So a couple of questions as I could not find any settings for these:
1. How can I set the map so that I'm also heading "up?" This is much easier to figure out if I need to turn left/right at a quick glance.
2. How do I get rid of those "points of interests" on the map? I don't need to know about every gas station or fast food as I'm traveling along my route.
Oh, one other item. I tried to enter a GPS destination (address) after we had already started driving. The system wouldn't let me. But it would let me enter GPS coordinates and points of interests! Just not a specific address! Very weird.
The GPS isn't bad at all! Especially if you consider the age of it. I actually like that it tells you which lanes you need to be in ahead of time, say compared to something more modern like our tesla. The GPS in the tesla is terrible, just like the wipers!
