what's the proper grease/lubricant to use for a brake pad replacement?

Fairly new to owning a 2015 GLK350, and about to replace the front and rear brake pads -- rotors look good and have plenty life in them.

What's the best brake grease to use on clips and pads? Any other areas that need grease? I want to also grease the caliper slide pins while I'm down there. Slide pins take a different grease -- silicone-based, correct?

Thanks in advance,
Enzo

Last time I did front brakes, I only lubed the caliper slider pins with the supplied stuff from FCP Euro. The shims and pads get no grease, just a good spray down with brake parts cleaner, a stiff wire brush to clear any rust/corrossion.

No issues to report.
