Glk = C class ?
Is the Glk based on the C class , then electronics should be the same ? I need a wiper - light control module that is in the mirror , my mechanic goes to the junk yard often. He has not found one for a Glk

Yes, the GLK is a x204 chassis, and built on the W204 or 2008-2014 C-class chassis basically.
That doesn't mean all parts are interchangeable though; perhaps get the part # for the module you need and look it up to see what cross-references - if any - there might be.
eBay could also be your friend in these cases, where junked cars are often parted out.

Look at the part# on the sensor you have then look for a replacement. I believe they are used in the W204, X204 and even W212.
I remember someone bought a replacement sensor from FCP based on there recommendation only to have it be the wrong one, different connector. Part #'s were not the same.
I like buying used Mercedes parts off ebay. I once bought a used Mercedes purge valve for my W204 and the thing worked perfectly. Paid around $15 and it was from a CL.

That can't be true. I've read here over and over and over (and over) you should only buy from FCP because they will always supply you with the right part/item. 👌

Sometimes that's a very, very good option. Yeah, I wouldn't choose a junkyard part for a part that's prone to wearing out, or one that requires a day's work to swap out... but there are times when a used part is a great option. My filter on this choice is that the part is NOT one that's prone to failure.
For example, if my ABS pump failed I'd think back to how many bad ABS pumps I've heard about here and elsewhere (essentially, almost none). I'd consider the cost of a used unit and a factory unit, and then would decide whether I'd rather spend under $100 for a used part that seldom fails (lots of eBay units in that range), vs. $800-900 for a MB dealer part. Installation is non-trivial, but in my case (being a fairly competent wrench-twister), I'd opt for the used part every time.
Same concept with a rear differential, though it would be a tougher choice for a front, since it's a LOT more work... I did replace my 2006 BMW 530xi front diff with an eBay unit for a couple hundred bucks vs. thousands for a factory unit, but the install is "non-trivial" and did make me think long and hard about it (it worked out fine, and was working fine when I sold the car years later, and I'm sure it's still fine).

I tried looking up the part number for the sensor and it doesnt even list it, at least not in the diagrams i have. I believe there are different sensors with a blue connector or a white connector, plus there are different part #'s for each of them.
I also seem to remember they had to get it programed to the car at an MB dealer for it to work after replacing it.
