Recently started getting check engine light (first once in 4 years and since the emission mod on 5/21) , on then off at times.... got free scan at Autozone, and it indicated a problem with exhaust temp sensor 1 (upstream). No performance issues were noticeable, but since we were going on a long trip the next week, I wanted to get it straightened out to avoid further headaches. The local dealership confirmed fault code P208027 temp sensor 1, and did replace it under the warranty. While there they also updated the waterpump control unit software, per campaign service. Trip went well, no issues, and still getting around 38mpg highway. Combined with the lower cost of diesel fuel now, still very cost effective to travel in
