Question Adjusting Active Headlights

I have the bi xeon with active curve and I noticed that the driver headlight is slightly higher than the passenger side. Should they be adjusted or will it throw everything out of whack?

If you can adjust them how is the best way.

I think all lights have height adjustment. On top of the light is a hole to screw the unit up down. Why would it do anything bad

There should be a headlight level sensor in the front wheel well near the lower control arm. It may be broken and the headlights are not coming to the same level. When you start the car with the lights on, do they both do the in/out, up/down thing?

It would be worth looking at the level sensor to make sure it's not bad, but in general, it should be dead easy to adjust the vertical position of your headlights. My headlights aren't bi-xenon, but the vertical adjustment should be a large plastic knob with a Philips head indent behind the headlights, accessible through a peep hole in the panel above.

I adjust my headlights in a nearby parking lot with a large white concrete wall - I park 75-100 feet away from the wall, and adjust the cut-off in the light pattern to fall just below the height of the eyes of oncoming traffic. Takes seconds.

Yes they do the little dance on starting. . I was just worried about adjusting the electronic control headlights.

If the auto-leveling is working correctly, adjusting the headlights will adjust the "default position", and the auto-adjust will take it from there (compensating for a heavily loaded vehicle, trailer, or whatever).
