2015 Glk 250 Blind spot radar / turn signal error message
Good day,
I'm having an issue with my GLK 250. The Blind spot radar hasn't been working for awhile, I've been holding off on buying new radar units because of the cost. Today however in the rain at the same time both turn signals are giving an error message saying to check the turn signal lamps and is clicking at twice the normal rate. Could these problems be related or are they separate issues?
Things I have done
- checked the turn signals and they are flashing and no burnt out bulbs
- removed blind spot radar both left and right. Both units have massive water intrusion evidence.
- checked all fuses
- tried the turn signals without the radar units connected and the error messages with the turn signals persisted -- connectors for the blind spot radar does not have corrosion, just the units themselves have water in them
I did order two new blind spot radars and when they show ill report if they fix the problem, but wanted some advice on what to check or if it could be seperate SAM issue for the turn signals
