GLK350 Headlight Restoration
I sspent a little over an hour wet sanding on the first one, starting at 400 grit which removed most of the oxidation and UV damage. After this I went to a 600, then 1000, and 2000. I probably could have skipped one of these but the final step was the 3000 grit which I began using with Meguiars Plastx. I worked that in and afterwords polished with a microfiber using the same product.
Finally I gave it a light spray with 3030 Aerospace Protectant with is a UV protecting spray.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. I wish I had gotten a before picture but this particular side was BAD. There's still a slight bit of haze on the edges, but I can live with it.

But I'm lazy and like to get things done *now*.
I bought a brush similar to the one shown below - prob $2.00 USD. I slid the neck into a variable speed drill and snugged it up.
I pulled out the can of polishing compound from the toolbox and smeared a bunch of compound on each headlight.
Ten minutes later (15?), I'm done. No muss, no fuss 👍

A mini 3" DA or Orbital similar to what you have pictured would have been great though.
