Track your GLK's trans-atlantic journey
I found this site while digging in my archive:

If you use the VIN in the "CARGO ID", you will get tracking status info from the time the vehicle is booked in Bremen to the time it's release by the liner at the port of arrival.
I tried it a couple of minutes ago using one of the VINs from mbwestminster inventory sheets. Saw that when it was booked in Brenen to when it was released in Baltimore.

Try this: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp From there choose "Track & Trace" from the "Customer Tools" drop-down list.

For west coast of USA, they ship to LA, Portland and Tacoma. Unfortunately, they do not ship direct to Vancouver, BC; instead they ship all Canadian bound vehicles to Halifax, NS, then across the country by CN Rail = SLOW TRAIN.

MB must be using a different shipping company. I tried a couple of VINs from an LA dealership (http://www.mbzla.com/new_inventory.h...odystyle=clear) and got nothing but "no record found".

Thanks DerekACS,
Must be a "border" $ issue not to use Tacoma for Western Canada.
Not much space for cars around Vancouver Harbor. Why mess up such a beautiful harbor with car storage anyway. Took off in a small sea plane in late Sept. from Vancouver harbor for a Canadian west coast tour. WOW.
Cannot say enough about beauty and quality of life for western Canada.
Had to laugh at the sign entering Vancouver city limits, "Entering a Nuke free zone". The bast..ds we love to look down on an our south of here have the Nukes and pay for the Nukes that let us feel superior and afford public health care, etc.
