I watched a live stream of the LA Auto Show, MB did a quick GLS intro and moved the next car. I heard nothing new about the GLS.

The silver GLS 550 above looks very good and those wheels are still very impressive.
Has anyone heard when MBUSA.com will be updated with the GLS?

I just watched Brian Cooley's review of the new SL and he mentioned CarPlay at the end saying it is coming to the SL in the spring:

One would think that the head unit in the SL is similar to the GLS so could this mean CarPlay is coming to the GLS also?
He also said Android Auto is NOT coming to the SL (interesting).

+1 on Color Combo.....
Anyway just wanted to know is this the only refresh we gonna see\have for next 5-6 years or we gonna get a new body\interior re-design after 2 more years that is 2018/19? Little confused on this....

Thanks JoeMa so that means we gonna get a total redesign model in 2019 along with interior, so no point in investing in the current year GLS better to wait for 1-2 years and get a new refresh......
But I looked at couple of sites and the 2019 GLS looks more like a McDonald Combo of BMW & Range Rover I hope I am looking at the wrong model.
Please share any site\pics you got for 2019 GLS.

Those renderings are all nonsense. We won't see a full redesign for a few more years and nobody but MB knows what it will look like. Take such photos with a grain of salt.

This rendering was made by Auto Bild Germany and we mention the source. It is very clear that this is an artist impression and it is a long way to the final car.
As we wrote, the GLS will go upmarket to follow the trend of the new and future superluxury SUV from Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Audi Q8, BMW X7. Is very probably that the next GLS will get a Maybach version to follow this trend. The pictures we published are the only published by Auto Bild.

Don't overthink this,
It's a great vehicle if you need one today, no substitute.
If you have a GL already, maybe you wait maybe you wait for the next gen maybe you don't.
Either way it's 3 yrs out if past refreshes are any indication
