When is the fully redesigned GLS expected.. 2018?
I'm on the fence about buying a GLS. It's now been updated with most of the tech options I wanted, but not all (still missing HUD), and the design is not at the S class level. That said, I'd still be pretty happy with it, if there's nothing better expected to come out in the near term. But, if the full redesign is to hit next year, I think I'd prefer to just wait... and get something I'd be totally happy with. So.. do we know anything about when the new model is actually supposed to go on sale?

The Maybach GLS is the only wildcard, possibly coming in a year or two. But at a substantial $premium.

Fab usually has a better bead on these things but the X164 was 6 model years (2007-2012) so if the X166 follows suit, a new model could be in the works for MY2019. There is a lot of competition and BMW X7 is around the corner. Look for MB to be on their game.
