Bought GLS 450 Today
Awesome SUV. Rides and handles so much better than the 2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum that I traded in.

Congratulations. Please post some pics on the GLS Owner Pictures thread.
I test drove the Escalade and while it has a nice interior I agree with you that the ride and handling are not as good as the GLS.

2017 GLS450 (on order)
I'm looking forward to getting my GLS 450 soon...it's supposed to be built next week.
I ordered a Yukon Denali XL 4WD last year because I like the service department of the GMC dealership. Plus the Cadillac dealer is not nearby. After researching those GM vehicles, many of them have a very bad buffeting sound that would give me a headache in short order. GM has bought LOTS of them back. I'd like to have the extra space in the GMC but went with the 450 instead.
