Have the GLS550. When someone call the ringtone is really loud. How do you turn the volume down.

 

Try turning the volume knob down, just do it before you pick up the call. That seems to work with all of the various volume levels that you need to adjust from time to time.

 

When you get your next incoming call/ring - before you answer adjsut ring volume with steering wheel colume controls - system will save that volume setting until you choose to change it again..

 

I'm still waiting for my GLS to be shipped from the factory, but have looked at an owner's manual online. There is a menu in the COMAND system that allows phone settings to be changed. I think that's where you'll find you can change the ring volume.

I believe it was a sub section of the Vehicle Settings but it's been several days since I saw it. Look in the owner's manual or the MB Guide in the iTunes store. I saw it there or online.

They built my GLS 450 on the 27th so it's just sitting there waiting. I ordered Polar White with Appearance Package, Driver Assistance, Parking Assist, leather, ventilated seats, & a couple other items.
