Many thanks to the people who posted pricing information here. I bought my 2017 GLS450 on Tuesday last week. The MSRP price was $81,050 but I got it down to $70,074 + Tax + License/Registration/Fees. The dealership is in the Bay Area.
Not sure if it was a right decision or not, but I also bought 7 year extended warranty for $2880. Did not get $1,500 service (4 times).

Congrats on your new vehicle and seems very good deal. I bought the extended warranty as well, to be safe for 7 years. I also bought
Prepaid maintenance and i was told that i can buy the prepaid after 40k/4 years as well which i'm planning to buy.

I am in south Texas and looking for a good dealer willing to negotiate on price. Anyone with any suggestions? Willing to travel to Dallas, Houston, Austin....but right now dealers seem to be giving me the cold shoulder when it comes to any off MSRP.

Frankly - if you're calling about a Black GLS - you don't know - but all MB dealers get "calls" about every day black GLS .
If there is a specific GLS out there you are excited about - and even better 1 or 2 in the same metro area - then make a trip and play on-site hardball in person.
