When are the 2018 models coming out?

If I remember right 2017 orders opened up sometime around this time last year, shouldn't they be about ready to start taking orders for the 2018 models?

the standard halogen lights are CRAP and not fitting for a car in this price range. Make sure you get the lighting package.

Wow halogen standrad, optional LED? No standard Xenons? Probably crappy lights by design to raise the price. What a joke. Just raise the MSRP and put proper lights before people get screwed by not knowing.

Thanks for the tip.

Yeah unbelievable! Can't drive the GLS in low light conditions bc the halogens are so dim. Very unsafe. One would expect a better product from Mercedes Benz in an era where kia, Toyota and Hyundai offer standard lighting which is way more advanced. I am very perplexed by what MB has done.

GLS 450
It's strange why MB has gone this route on both GLE and GLS when BMW offers bi-xenon standard on X5. halogen are things of the past and unaccepatable for premium vehicles. Also, think 2018 (or shortly thereafter) Bi-xenona will need to standard as mandated by federal law.
