Current GLS MF and MBFS financing
Didn't see this within any GLS thread, so posting here - the current GLS MF can be requested on an ongoing basis in the Edmunds forum at -

The numbers posted were quite accurate in our negotiations with a few local MB dealers.
However we are now considering a long term buy, and could not find anything related to MBFin rates.
Can anyone here share their experience with MBFin for a GLS450 purchase?
We recognize that these are based on case by case per individual, but please share ballpark figures on MBFin rates, say for a 48 or 60 month finance.
E.g. what we looking at in general - 2.99%, 3.49%, 4.5%, 5.5%??
We are also exploring financing as a small business, and a couple local banks (BOFA and Wells Fargo) do not even have such an option (to finance an auto purchase for a small business) - but MBFin does (with a personal guarantor option required).
So any pointers around small biz auto financing outside MBFin will be highly appreciated as well.

Do it thru MBFS as expedient... do it in December after asking your accountant about the full added Sec 179 deduction for the 2016 Tax Year... now Sec 179 for you is where the "bigger money" is at...

Before we head off to the dealer, can you advise if the MBFS will actually click within this year?
This is because we are submitting a custom order for a GLS 450 with SPC (293-Rear side air bags). Last month the dealer had said late Jan '17 for delivery.
Not sure what the timeline will be for a custom order if we place it now. However, the crux of the question is whether the Sec 179 applies for 2016 if we complete the MBFS application with a deposit in Dec 2016, or it kicks in only after the vehicle is delivered and accepted by the business in 2017.
