Air Balance in GLS
Can someone please confirm that there are no perfume bottles involved in the GLS air balance package?
Since we don't see it in the glove compartment per other MB videos on the air balance, where is the GLS "balancer/ionizer" located?

Glad you asked - more info
The GLS P21 option adds a 2nd air filter to the cabin climate control - and also adds switchable "Ionizer".
The "Ionizer" function is switchable thru COMAND system - see the attached page from COMAND with that instructions.
Note - in the Owner's Manual the Ionizer needs to be switched on - the Climate Control ON - and per Owner's manual the "Driver's Side Climate Vent" open

Thanks Fab!
Yes, I switched on ionization from day-1, but just wondered about the "perfume" part, since didn't see any in the glove compartment as shown in MB videos. The perfume was not mentioned in the printed or the digital manual either.
Let see how long the filters last.
Solaris - we use this for interior cabin fragrance -

or

The choice ultimately depends on what the wife likes and doesn't give her a headache
We find the "real" perfumes to be far better than the stupid vent ones.
Head over to the mall and try as many as you like
Also make sure they are not oil based, and do not leave any oil residue/spots.
We spray on tiny amounts in corners and along headliners (not on any leather or vinyl material), and behind the shades etc., and it stays absorbed and gives great ambiance, lasting about a month or two before reapplication.
