Hi all. Looking to replace my 2015 GL with a new 2018 GLS450. Nailed down options but seeking input on color choices. For this next GLS, I know I want the saddle brown leather interior but debating between either black or selenite grey metallic for the exterior color.

I know it's all personal preference but would be interested in getting some input as to what other folks prefer for the saddle brown interior.

Also, my NY dealer is telling me that I can expect delivery in early October if I get my order in now. Does that sound right? I've read some posts here that seem to suggest folks ordering in Jan 2017 and still awaiting their vehicle. I want to be sure my dealer isn't giving me an unrealistic delivery timeframe.

Color options were a toss up for me too but ended up with a 2017 white with Espresso Brown MB-Tex interior and love it.

Did you mean Selenite Grey Metallic? I have not heard of a selenite Brown Metallic.

You're right - I meant selenite grey and have edited my post.

The espresso brown - white exterior is a great combo. Our last 2 MBs have been white so I'm ready for a change. I've always been a white or silver guy. Dislike black bc it is so hard to keep clean, but the Mrs. likes black and darker colors, so the selenite grey might be a nice compromise for us. I've seen the selenite grey with saddle brown in a CLS coupe which looks great.

I think the Selenite Grey Metallic would look great with saddle brown leather. The gray metallic looks great with anything. That's the color I probably would've gone with if I hadn't gone with white. I think that's a good look. I'm in New York also. Which dealership are you buying at?

For my 17 GLS went with Selenite exterior and designo espresso brown interior. Love the combination and lots of compliments.
