im sure it wont be available until future generations of MB vehicles, looks cool though. I dont like the fact that MB is making it more and more complicated to use the info/nav systems like they did with the 2016 version of Comand, the 2014/5 version of comand is easier and simpler to use and less distracting than the current versions, that just me though

Actually, this new tech will be in the 2018 A-Class coming this year: https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/mer...e-new-a-class/

Look for variations of this dash in all revised MB models. There will be three different variants of the new dash in the A-Class alone.

Its essentially the sa as the present system with a touchscreen and new software. The touch screen is a waste given that you can do the the exact thing with the steering wheel touch pads or the console wheel or touch pad. I enjoy not putting dirty fingers on the screen. Touchscreen will work with smaller cars but in things like the S class it will be too far.

Agree, but having both makes sense, so the passenger can operate the system. I just love this. Will make it so much faster to operate than the command wheel, which is slow and archaic.
