AMG style brake/accelerator for 2017 GLS 450?

Just picked up a 17 GLS 450, kinda like the AMG style pedals with the
nubs. Anyone know if aftermarket/OEM that can fit on? May have to
replace the entire unit, could be some $$...

I put them on my 13' 450 and have a new set ready to go on the GLS I just picked up. Not only do they look upscale, but you can't see the wear on the brake pedal over time as you can with the standard rubber covers.

Easy install too.

BigJob13, I just ordered my 18 GLS450 and awaiting to come in. Just bought these to be ready, but when you say easy install.. Are the pedals attached with a bolt or pin?

Thanks
Mike

Pedal installation

The ones I installed look just like yours. They are pedal covers. They’re a little tricky getting on, but I made sure they fully on and mine never came loose or moved. Either google some installation video or get some written instructions. I say this because it matters which corner you start with and end with when installing.

good luck.

Correct. The easiest is the accelrator. You simply finnagle it around the pedal. It took me a try or two (dumb dumb) to realize that you have to remove the brake pedal cover and then put the shiny one on! After the epiphany the brake was almost as easy. Simply ease the cover starting at the edge away from the accelerator (thin side) and work your way to the accelerator side (thick wedge side). The whole process is 15 min max and no tools are necessary. Make sure that the cover is complety surrounds the pedal by running your finger around it, since you can't see behind the pedal. If you have a blunt hook or angle tool that you can fit back there you install in less than a minute. If you use a tool use some soapy water as lubricant. Though the install is quick and easy making sure its securely fitted is crucial, the last thing you would ever want is for the brake pedal to slip off at the wrong time!
