is brown still available?

I have a non-USA spec GLS 400 on order for may production. I am told by my dealer that citrin brown (dakota brown in the US) is no longer available. Indeed on the German website and most other country websites it is no longer listed. However I notice that MBUSA.com still has it. If the factory where the car is manufactured for all markets is still producing dakota brown and the colour is still a valid MB production colour for other models, then why can't I have brown I ask my dealer? He says the USA website has not updated their site and that he got an email from Germany when locking in my order saying that brown isn't available anymore for all mercedes models.

Can any US dealers in the house or people in the know confirm or refute that dakota (citrin) brown is still available?

Many Thanks
