Chrome Door Inserts

Folks,
About to install the chrome door inserts.. I am thinking to use rubbing alcohol to remove all oils and grit from the paint before the install. Anyone have any other tips and tricks around this particular install?

Thats it. Make sure you mark exactly where its going before you stick them. Last advice dont do it they look real cheap.....

I agree... plastic stick on anything don't enhance a 80K car, I keep mine stock!

Best I've seen to avoid scratches behind the door handles is to have a shop that does the paint protection film (clear bra) cut a piece to put behind there.

Thanks yes great idea. Doing some research I decided not to install and get a clear bra piece. I traced the door inserts I had...
I am now selling a brand new set of door inserts.. LOL
