Thoughts on E-Active Body Control (ABC) advantages?
We currently have Active Curve on our my14 GL.
What are your thoughts on the advantages of ABC.
We we do not off-road, but do like road trips thru mountains, etc.

I have been looking at it and asking around. I have a 17 GLS 550. In sports mode it handles nice. It is a $6,500 option, A part of me wants to get it since it will be a lease but than again it is not really needed. I slide my gls550 now easily for fun and it does great lol.

- In Comfort or Economy mode the ride is very plush. I'm not sure how much Road Surface Scan has to do with this.
- There are four height levels available depending on driving mode and speed.
- You can set the car to lower when entering or exiting, or loading the rear
- Curve mode is a cool party trick (only in Comfort mode) that is kind of addicting; brings back my motorcycling days. Pretty pronounced at level 3.
- In Sport & Sport+ modes body roll is well controlled
- Airmatic with Active Curve (they're calling it Ride Control) is coming on the GLE 53 (and I assume GLS); using the 48v system it should be even more responsive than the old one. It might be the best cost/benefit system, but it's a ways off.
