Question 2017 GLS 63 CPO - worth buying?

Ok folks, need some advise. This is the first time i'll be buying an SUV, let alone luxury. Saw one 2017 GLS 63 with 22.5K miles on it for $77K. I looked at 2020 GLS as well and tech vise it has huge difference and specially the old comand system is not that great. So wondering if I should go for 2017 CPO or not. My main concern is the tech. Is there something from features perspective that you'd not go with 2017 and wait for 2020 or go with some other manufacturer?
Also if you can comment on the price. What is the max you would pay for this? Thanks a bunch for your time.

A gaggle of MB's
You can go to edmunds.com for a valid 3rd party value estimate - and never pay over Edmonds - and that price for that GLS63 - yes you are just a bit under the price of a 2020 450..

So the dealer is willing to offer this GLS 63 for $73K since the vehicle has been sitting with them for more than 60 days now. The only concern is that I do not want to regret the decision after purchasing it. I'm looking for your perspective. I'm torn between newer models and this one. Newer models, not just MB, have far more advanced and cool features. With this, I'm only getting AMG engine and the horse power. I know it is person choice but would like to hear your thoughts too. Thanks

You are comparing apples and oranges. A used high performance vehicle vs a new mid-model vehicle. Which vehicle meets your needs better?

2014 GL550,2020 GLS580
Op if you are looking to get a car for around $77 than i would get the amg.You are getting the most for you money and someone else already took a big hit of depreciation . If you want the newest tech in a new car than 2020 gls 450/580 if your choice .All depends on how big is your budget but imo good optioned 2020 450 will be close to 100k might as well go with 580.
I have 2014 gl550 and its tech is enough for me.
Still has massage seats, heated ,ventilated, sun shades, power is great, nav, panorama sunroof with 3rd row sunroof 👍.

2015 GL 550
I would buy the 2017 gls 63 because it will maintain its value better than a new gls 450 (and the previous owner already took the initial hit on the price drop) and more power is always more enjoyable.

But if you really want the new interior (it is a big improvement and more ergonomic), it's your personal preference

Cons of the 2017 amg--> higher running cost (fuel, tires, brakes, etc)

Cheers
