GLS450

2017 450 camera question...

Sorry in advance if this has been asked. We just traded in a 2015 QX80 for the 2017 GLS450. We have the 360 camera and park assist. The camera on My Infiniti would turn on automatically when pulling into a parking spot, and figured this would too, but the 450 doesn’t. Is this an additional option in another package? Or something I can Change setting wise?

GLS 450

Hi, I have the 2017 GLS 450 with 360 camera and park assist options. When the gear is in Reverse, the camera will turn ON whether the center display is on or off. You might want to get it checked out.

Mine doesn't turn on automatically either, but you can select 360 degree camera off your menu; I think it's under Dynamic Select. I believe your proximity sensors will illuminate whether the camera is selected or not.

The way it works in GLS, the camera will automatically turn on if you engage the Reverse gear. Or you can also turn it on by pushing AND holding the hidden Settings button.
