Seat belt tensioner error
2017 GLS 450. Seat belt (left rear) malfunction light was on last year and dealer replaced the emergency tensioner. Now the light is on again and dealer wants to replace the seat belt retractor connector for $627. I am puzzled because the seat belt has never been used. A car seat is tied down with LATCH on the left rear seat and uses 5-point harness instead of the seat belt. Does anyone know if this is related to the car seat or an easy fix like programming the code away to save the cost? Thanks.
