DIY 2017 gls450 oil change
Hi gang
I decided to do my own oil change but could not find a single video on the x166 3.0L twin turbo gls450. I even had a hard time finding the picture of the drain plug......anyways, an oil change is an oil change....so I just went for it and decided to do a quick video in case someone else wants to do their own

I just had a fresh oil change done by my indy when i got the car. Added LM Proflush on my way to the shop(to cycle thru and remove all the sludge and residue), I used Liqui Moly LeichtLauf 5W40(Mercedes approved, LM recommended).Added then Ceratec(friction protector).
Results and improvements are sensibly AMAZING!!!
Better MPG,responsiveness, pedal feel, engine pulls smoother,etc...Did a thousand mile roadtrip to test, Pl l👍👍
I used same ritual in Audis, with same great resultsresults.t works in Mercedes too!
Cheers,
Bob

@Promo Bob Are these the 2 products used:
Flush:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/2427-Pro-Li...5109052&sr=8-1
Ceramic Protection:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/LIQUI-MOLY-..._t1_B001CZSG94
Is what you've noticed a result of these or a symptom of a fresh oil change, iyo?

Liqui Moly 2037 Pro-Line Engine Flush - 500 Milliliters
- and Ceratec. Yeah, is that good. I used it on Audis also. There's sludge build up in the engine anyways, and Proflush cleans it out Then LM Leichlauf 5w40, then Ceratec, and it's just magic!!!. Better pull, MPG,feel, etc. ..
Love it! I use Exxon/Mobil Supreme gas though, found to be better than the great 👍 Shell Nitro+ was using.
Cheers,
Bob
