Question Seat Control Module

Good day folks! Happy Friday.
I have a 2017 GLS450 and the passenger seat control module (part number 1669008606) is apparently gone to the parts yard in the sky. MB wants like 1200 to fix it and the part is like $150 bucks. When I asked about the giant labor bill I was told that the wiring in of the new module is a pain in the ***. Not totall believing it can be as much of a pain as they said it was leads me to the question of has anyone replaced this before? Is it truly a pain?
Thanks in advance and Happy weekend everyone!
Matt

Not the passenger seat, but I had the third-row seat actuator go and it was a half-day job for the MB dealer. My car has an MB warranty though so didn't cost me anything, if you don't have a warranty then find a reputable specialist who I'm sure will sort it for much less.
