I will post some pics when I get the car back. On the drive home from picking the car up from the dealer, i noticed the rear speakers in third row popping with louder volume. When I got home I went over the car more thoroughly. Also found broken rear rear AC vents and passenger rear soft close not working. So much for CPO "rigorous" inspection. Lol. Immediately called dealer and dropped off to service today won’t get to it till Monday. They say they will take care of it.

My point exactly. Imagine buying a 'rigorously inspected' CPO GLS sight unseen, without a test drive and from a place hundreds miles away from you. Nothing but headache not worth the price.

Absolutely right! The car in Massachusetts is still advertised on the dealer site and the Florida car just dropped $2000. Something has to be up with those cars where nobody is buying them because other clean CPO GLS550’s have been sold as soon as they are advertised. I feel like I dodged a bullet and saved some cash. There’s a CPO in Illinois I called about and of course salesman said it was non smoker vehicle. I asked another salesman at that dealership to please sit in the truck and be completely honest with me I would get it shipped. He said someone definitely smoked in it. You can never get rid of that smell. Buying sight unseen even CPO is a no-no!!
The rough start continues for my “CPO” (whatever that means) GLS! Finally got the truck back today after being at the dealer a day after I purchased for broken ac vent, soft close door actuator and 2 blown rear speakers. Took it to get inspection in MD as I purchased from dealer in VA. It failed inspection! Driver side cv axle boot leaking oil haha you can’t make this stuff up. I took a pic and sent to dealer and called and told of my disgust on this experience. I mean really what kind of CPO inspection was done the leak is clear as day! Anyways, dealer will bring me a loaner and pick up truck from my house, fix, then take and get inspected on their own and reimburse me for the inspection. I finally took a couple of pics of the truck.
That boot looks like it broke very recently. (No road grit adhered to the grease.) Probably it was fine when they did the inspection. Any way, good that you caught it early, before the joint got contaminated.
